2024 Playground Safety Poster Calendar Contest
We are pleased to announce our 7th Annual Playground Safety Poster Calendar Contest. This contest is open to all Georgia elementary students in grades Kindergarten through 5 residing in the state of Georgia.
All kindergarten through fifth-grade students may participate and have a chance of winning a $10 to $100 Amazon e-gift card. Winners will also receive a SAP t-shirt. A ten-dollar ($10) Amazon e-gift card will also be awarded to each winning teacher/sponsor.
Each year more than 200,000 children in the United States are injured while playing at playgrounds, for an average of one playground-related emergency room visit every 2.5 minutes. The purpose of this contest is to increase awareness of playground safety. Teachers could include this fun learning event in their lesson plans, if desired. Students will be delighted when given recognition in the distribution of the winning posters that become a part of the 2024-2025 Playground Safety Calendar. Students, parents, family, staff, and others will be able to enjoy the calendars during the next school year. A minimum number of winning entries is required for production.
We look forward to seeing your school’s entries for this year’s contest. Awards will be distributed to students and teachers/sponsors during National Playground Safety Week.
